Dreamweaver "preview" in FireFox HAS BEEN FIXED!

As professional developers ourselves, when common everyday workflows come to a screeching hault - we often do the same things you do:

After a few months of scouring forums and collaborating with other developers we tried and failed a few times, but then... like many good things... THE FIX just came to us in the middle of the night!

*Make sure you are on a Mac with Automator installed in your Applications folder before purchasing. We have had much success with Mac OS 10.5.x only. We have discovered a few inconsistencies with 10.4.x and 10.6.x. We are unable to pinpoint why it does not work every time in anything other than 10.5.x. We are working on a complete solution for Mac OS 10.4 or higher. SEE BOTTOM OF PAGE!!

These are the common issues that THIS APP WILL FIX:

2. Place the "FirefoxPreviewFix.app"

After receiving your confirmation email, download the attached "FirefoxPreviewFix.app", un-zip it and simply put it in the "Applications" folder on your Mac.

3. Edit Dreamweaver's Preferences

Open Dreamweaver and edit the "Preview in Browser" preferences. WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW.

4. Quit Dreamweaver

This IMPORTANT STEP forces Dreamweaver to save the new preference settings!

5. Reopen Dreamweaver

Fire up your trusted, tried-and-true work horse.

6. Get Back To Work

You already know your job and how you "work", so get back to enjoying your proven workflow. Like we did!
